For most other roles with the club, the first step is to approach our Management Committee. This can be done in a variety of ways:
All club volunteers over the age of 18 must hold a current Working with Children Blue Card issued by the Queensland Government.
If you already have a current Blue Card, simply present this at the canteen on training night and we can link your card to Brothers Juniors Ipswich.
If you need to renew your Blue Card or apply for one for the first time, click the button below to apply/renew online. Once you have registered/applied online, please send an email to info@brothersjuniorsipswich.com.au so that we can approve for your Blue Card to be linked to our Club.
Please note: The requirement to hold a Blue Card to volunteer with children in Queensland is a legislative requirement enforced by the Queensland Government. Our Club will support volunteers were possible, but the responsibility to apply for/renew Blue Cards, and provide correct details to enable for Blue Cards to be linked to the Club rest with the individual Blue Card holder/applicant.
All Club volunteers must complete the NRL's Coach, Trainer & Volunteer Registration Form.
This form ensures that you are properly registered with the NRL and approved to volunteer with a junior club. It also provides the NRL with your contact information so that they can send you information and opportunities relevant to your role as a volunteer.
