Check back soon for details of our 2025 end of season break up
Please reach us at info@brothersjuniorsipswich.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.
As we are playing mini games, players will need to wear footy boots, their Brothers footy shorts, and bring their mouthguards. It is vital that U6 and U7 players wear their playing shorts with the velcro patches for the LeagueTag. As most teams have returned their jerseys, players can wear their training shirts or any other suitable shirts to play... it's all in the spirit of fun.
Each team will play two 20 minute games against another Brothers team from their age group. Each game will have a short on-field half-time break.
We are arranging for our fabulous Club Referees to officiate the mini games. In the most part, our Club Referees are players from our international age group (U13+) teams.
Each team will play two mini games. The games start at 9am, but please check the schedule above to confirm your team's game times. After your team has finished their games, they will proceed to the canteen are where they can grab some food and treats. Teams will then be able to use Presentation Space to present players with their trophies and team photos.
The Break Up Carnival that we have held in previous years, with rides and fireworks, has become increasingly more expensive each year. The cost of running a similar carnival in 2024 was going to cost in excess of $30,000. Our Club is committed to keeping registration fees affordable for families and as such, have moved away from the carnival format. In 2024, we are holding the mini gala day format for our U6-12, and are introducing more formal Presentation Dinners for our international age groups (U13+).
Any families that were looking forward to the carnival are encouraged to attend the 50th Anniversary Big Bash being held by Brothers Leagues Club on Saturday 21 September. It includes free entertainment, rides, petting zoo and a fireworks show. Find out more at https://brothersipswich.com.au/50th-anniversary-big-bash/
