Times: 9:30am to 10:30am (Session 1) or 10:30am to 11:30am (Session 2)
Venue: Brothers Leagues Club, 26 Wildey Street, Raceview QLD 4305 (see map)
Tour our facilities, meet our staff, learn some skills and, most importantly, HAVE FUN WITH YOUR TEAM MATES! There will be prizes, giveaways, and sausage sizzle & drink for all participants.
Suitable for FEMALE PLAYERS ONLY, aged 5 years and over.
Please note that we will require you to register your attendance using the link below (either before or on the day) and participants must already have turned 5 or older.
Our GIRLS ONLY Open Training Session will be held in conjunction with our annual Sign On Day, at which you can get support to register via the NRL’s MySideline system and purchase playing uniforms (shorts and socks).

Brothers Juniors Ipswich provides opportunity for female participation in the game across all our age groups:
In these age groups, boys and girls play in mixed teams as they progress through from the non-contact LeagueTag (U6-7), introduction to tackling in Mini-League (U8-9) and further development in Mod-League (U10-12).
After U12, girls then play in female only teams. Brothers Juniors Ipswich is an approved participation club in the Southeast Queensland Female Competition. This competition is played across the Moreton Bay, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Logan, and Greater Ipswich regions and has over 15 participating clubs.
In July/August each year we run our 5-week Little Leprechaun Program which is a non-contact, skills-based program introducing girls and boys to rugby league.
We also actively provide volunteer opportunities for females in our club across a variety of roles including coaching, first aid, team management and administration.
Guided by the QRL 6 Strategic Pillars, Brothers continuously works to increase female participation in all areas within the club and provides programs exclusively for existing and prospective female players and associated staff.
This GIRLS ONLY Open Training Session is just one of these programs. Other programs include Refresher Tackle Safe sessions and include nutritionists, exercise physiologists, referees, and coaching educators. The sessions are designed to empower players and staff with knowledge and skills for continued self-improvement both on and off the field.
