COVID-19 Vaccination & Symptoms Information

Brothers Juniors Ipswich will always align with QLD Health restrictions and recommendations. The NRL and QRL currently do not mandate junior members to be vaccinated.

Our club protocols are in place for the health and safety of all players, staff, parents, volunteers, and spectators.

Brothers Juniors Ipswich will continue to ensure parents/caregivers/guardians have checked in using the Check in App, adhere to density restrictions, maintain high personal hygiene standards, and remain at home if they or anyone in their household are unwell. Masks may also be required.

A person is not required to give proof of vaccination or evidence of medical contraindication or their contact information if they are:

• under the age of 16 years
• in primary or secondary school and is part of a group attending an activity organised by a school, sporting team or community group

Please do not attend trainings or games if you or anyone in your household:

1. Has tested positive to a COVID PCR or Rapid Antigen Test (R.A.T) within the last 7 days;
2. Are waiting for the results of a COVID test; or
3. Are experiencing any COVID or Flu like symptoms such as:

• Fever, cough, tiredness, sore throat, headache
• Loss of taste or sense of smell,
• Body aches and pains, discoloured fingers, or toes
• Diarrhea
• Rash on the skin, irritated eyes

Brothers Ipswich Juniors protocols are in place for the health and safety of our community. This includes all players, staff, parents, volunteers, and spectators.

If any member arrives to the ground with any of the above symptoms, they will be asked to leave the venue, get tested and isolate until they receive the results.
