This is the first edition of our Club e-newsletter. We will send these out each week in the lead up to fixtures. We encourage you to read the newsletter each week as we will share updates on:
- Club news and events
- Reminders of key dates and deadlines
- Sponsor offers and opportunities
Starting next week, we will also introduce you to some of the faces that you will see around the Club.
Registration Fees Due: 30 April 2022
As we head into Term 2, we would like to remind everyone that player registration fees are required to be paid in full by 30 April. Please use the next two weeks of training to finalise payment of fees including any Fair Play Vouchers that haven't been presented yet.
Payment of registration fees can be made at the canteen during training or via our Online Form, while Fair Play Vouchers can be sent to brothersregistrar@hotmail.com.
Team Officials... are you good to go?
Are you volunteering with one of our teams in 2022 as a coach, manager, sports trainer or LeagueSafe? If so, have you got each of the following requirements sorted?
- Registration - All volunteers must be registered in the NRL's MySideline system for each role they are performing.
- Blue Card - All people involved with junior sports teams must hold a current Working With Children Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- Accreditation - All coaches, sports trainers and LeagueSafes must hold a current accreditation from the NRL for their role.
- MySideline Access - Do you have access to manage and update you team in MySideline?
If you are unsure about your status or need support with one of these items, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Paulette, via email to brothersvolunteers@hotmail.com.
RISE Program: Nominations now open
Nominations are now open for the RISE Rugby League Development Program. As the official pathways program of the QRL, the RISE program provides aspirational players with an avenue to obtain specialised training and education through a holistic Rugby League development experience.
The program consists of 5 face-to-face sessions delivered throughout the season culminating in games and an accreditation course, and focuses on four development areas:
- Prepare to Play
- Physical Development
- Technical and Tactical Development
- The Life-Fit Program
Sessions for the Ipswich Program will run throughout June, July and August for the following age groups:
- U13, U14 and U15 Boys
- U13-14 and U15-16 Girls

Date Claimer: Photo Week
The crew from Heritage City Photos will be joining us at training from 6 to 9 June to take our team and individual photos.
Each player will have a photo taken with their team, as well as an individual photo. Families can arrange to have sibling/family photos taken as well.
More details including the photo schedule and how to order additional photos will be provided closer to the date.
Gate Fees
When playing away at other fields, you will be charged $2 per adult for entry. Children under 18 years are free entry but all adult spectators and visitors are required to pay entry. The funds from these Gate Fees help support each club to cover the costs of running their club and hosting games.
Many fields may not be set up to accept card or phone payment of gate fees, so please be prepared with cash as a back up. Please also show respect for the volunteers staffing the gates for the host clubs.
